Everyone is getting the last few loose ends tied up for LBL this weekend.  Race director Jason Elsenrat suggested in a update post that we pack spare derailleur hangers for the biking due to all the downed branches.  I've been on a team when we busted a derailleur hanger...  Now it's pretty funny thinking back to Burke cursing every time he threw the chain off his improvised single speed, and then looking like he was riding a clown bike the last 3 hours of the race.  At the time it happened though?  Not so funny.  Needless to say, racing in the ravaged landscape should be interesting!
